NCNLA is proud to offer two Certifications. 

NCNLA, in conjunction with PLANET, offers the Certified Landscape Technician (CLT) exam.  This is an international, hands-on, certification testing program that promotes professionalism in the landscape industry and creates opportunities for career advancement.  If you are an exterior technician who wishes to establish credentials by meeting international standards for safe and effective operation of machinery and demonstrating a thorough understanding of all facets of the position – find out more about the CLT Certification.

NCNLA’s Certified Plant Professional (CPP) exam helps demonstrate professionalism in the nursery industry and creates opportunities for career advancement. The CPP exam is a two part test.  The written portion identifies knowledge and skills needed while working in a nursery or landscape operation. The Plant ID portion demonstrates knowledge of a wide selection of plant material.  The Plant ID portion of this test is required by the NC Landscape Contractors Registration Board - find out more about the CPP Certification.
